Hydrotherapy

Hydro-treadmill therapy is primarily used in veterinary patients to enable early return to function and improve muscle strength after limb, neck, or back surgery or injury and improve range of motion in compromised joints. Hydro-treadmill therapy is also becoming more frequently used in animals for athletic conditioning and weight management.

Acupuncture

Dr. Eva Bogner is trained in Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. International Veterinary Acupuncture Society states, "Acupuncture may be defined as the insertion of needles into specific points on the body to produce a healing response. Each acupuncture point has specific actions when stimulated. This technique has been used in veterinary practice in China for thousands of years to treat many ailments.

Therapeutic Exercise

We work with pets to achieve a correct posture, stance, and gait. Our gym is equipped for strength training, cardiovascular exercises, and improving balance and coordination. We also recommend cross-training programs for canine athletes.

Pulsing Electro-Magnetic Field (PEMF)

 This enhances circulation and nutrition to cells, which speeds the healing process and reduces stiffness, pain, and inflammation. Often, pets are so relaxed during this treatment that they fall asleep.

Low Level Light Laser/ Manual Therapy

Low-Level Light Laser Therapy (Cold Laser) This non-invasive therapy boosts cell metabolism and increases circulation, which helps wounds heal faster, decreases swelling, and eases pain. Because of the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, lasers are beneficial for arthritis, sprains and strains, injuries to muscles, ligaments, and tendons, post-surgical and soft tissue trauma, and open wounds.

Manual Therapy We use our hands for gentle manipulation to improve joint function and joint health. We concentrate on the animal's entire body to correct problems that may have developed because of changes in gait or posture.

Nail Trims

Let us help your animal be more comfortable walking with nail trim. We work with your pet to feel safe, during a pedicure, using treats, praise, and supportive restraint if necessary. We have a hydraulic table if they like to stand, a couch, comfy beds, and stairs. Different settings allow us to help you and your pet feel comfortable and confident. We also have traditional clippers and 3 different speed Dremel tools.
